- Use when no electricity is available
- Use when there is no shelter or the pit is exposed to excessive rain
- Use if usage is low - if usage is to be high it would be better to use an electronically powered unit.

- Robust lip mechanism has override protection
- Not using hydraulics can be a plus where hydraulic oil can cause contamination i.e. in the food industry.

- Three phase electricity is preferred –single phase can be used if necessary.
- The lip is infinitely adjustable within the available range so that goods loaded to the rear of the vehicle are NOT damaged.
- Lip damage is unheard of.
- Operation is simple and efficient.
DISADVANTAGES
- Initial cost can be higher.
- Hydraulics may be unwelcome in certain instances.

Docklevellers can be supplied in raised Base Frames for the following situations
- For retro fit where a pit is not desirable
- Where there is no room for a pit in the warehouse
- Where the premises are rented
- Where the unit needs to be moved at a future date

Docklevellers can be tailor made to customer requirements to overcome many of the problems associated with :
- Dock height is too low ( usually below 1350mm )
- Available Dock length is too short

5th WHEEL DOCKLEVELLER

This unit allows the fifth wheel coupling to be reversed UNDER the dockleveller to allow normal loading / unloading of the vehicle. |
